Ada House is an intentional workspace and event venue for artists, businesses, and community.

Founded by Obi Ezenwoye, a community organiser dedicated to enriching the lives and supporting the survival of Black and queer communities. Ada House is a project shaped by both vision and multi-generational legacy.
Over 30 years ago, Obi’s father arrived in London with dreams for a better life. Through adversity and perseverance, he opened a shop in Stockwell that grew into a vital hub supporting fellow immigrants through education, advocacy, and solidarity.
In 2023, guided by a commitment to keeping assets within Black communities, Obi inherited the leasehold of this semi-derelict building and began a three-year journey to restore and reimagine it as Ada House.
In 2026, Ada House became a CIC, consolidating its mission to benefit members of the global majority and LGBTQIA+ community, providing educational workshops that promote skills development, creativity, and economic empowerment.
